Web Management & Search Engine Optimization Services (Maintenance Plans)


Just because you build it, it doesn't mean they'll come.   Or that files won't get corrupt and need to be restored.   Keeping a website current, fresh, and ranking well for your keyword phrases is what we do.  

Large companies have entire staffs dedicated to maintaining their online presence.  With a maintenance plan, your company will know that someone is keeping an eye on the "store" for you.  And the cost is controllable.  Choose the plan that's right for you.  If, in any month, you ask for more work than your plan includes, we'll let you know up front, and you can decide whether to proceed with all of it then or save some of it for the next month.

    • Not offered: Administrative/secretarial services (editing Word documents, etc.).   Also, we do not manage your AuthorizeNet account or other gateway or merchant account related product(s).  This is for your protection as well as ours. 

    MONTHLY  SUPPORT PLAN  CHOICES

      Mini (available only for sites we host) $35 30 min/mo 2 to 7 days $70/hr
      Basic $75  1.25 hours/mo 1 to 5 days $60/hr
      Standard $220 4 hours/mo 1 to 4 days $55/hr
      Corporate $450 10 hours/mo 1 to 3 days $45/hr
    If you prefer No Plan, the rate is $85/hr (min charge of $17 per request).  Turn-around time: 2 to 20 days or more, depending on the nature of your request & our workload at the time. 

    TERMS & CONDITIONS

    1.  All plans require an initial 5 month commitment.  You agree to give 30 days notice if you wish to cancel after the 4th month or anytime thereafter. 

    2.  Part of what you pay for is the convenience of having me available.  I track all the time I spend but do not show it on your invoice unless you use more than the included time.   I normally spend about half the time doing SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and leave the balance available for any specific requests you might have in a month. 

    3.  Unused time cannot be carried over from month to month.

    4.  All time spent is billable whether the service is delivered via email, phone, or through web design, image editing, or managing your advertising program.  However, if you call and we talk for 15 minutes about the website and then 15 minutes about pets or kids, I charge only for the "work" portion of the call. 

    5. I appreciate advance notice of any substantial changes in a month so that we can keep the workload to your included time when possible.  "Substantial" varies depending on which plan you're on.

    6. Emergency edits are attended to as soon as humanly possible.  Emergency examples: Your shopping cart doesn't work; your website is down; your email is broken; one of your suppliers suddenly stops carrying something that you sell/use, etc.

    7. Normal office hours are M-F from 9 to 6 (Central Time).   After-hours requests for non-emergency assistance incur a surcharge of $25.   You can send us emails all night long.   It's only if you expect an immediate response to a non-emergency request that you will be charged the $25 in addition to whatever time is required.  

    * Turnaround time is dependent, of course, on the particular request.  We're good but we can't completely redesign a site or add 50 new products in just a few days.

    ** This rate assumes standard HTML, image editing, search engine optimization, etc.  Rates for Flash content or database related programming may be higher.  We will always tell you if that's the case.
